National Organization of Minority Architecture Students
Since being a student at LSU's School of Architecture, I have been deeply involved in student organizations, particularly as president of NOMAS. I focused on fostering professional growth and community engagement, launching impactful initiatives such as Educate & Elevate, a lunch-and-learn series connecting students with alumni and minority professionals, and the Annual Professional Development Day, offering free headshots, resume and portfolio reviews, mock interviews, and alumni panels to prepare students for internships and careers. These efforts have strengthened our chapter and provided meaningful opportunities for student success.

Volunteering and Community Engagement
I am passionate about volunteering and community engagement, working to inspire the next generation of architects and give back to the community. Through NOMAS, I expanded the Light-A-Fire program to collaborate with local elementary schools and Habitat for Humanity, teaching students about architecture and design while participating in hands-on service projects. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of design to positively impact communities.
